RADOX® UL 3680 (oli Proof)

RADOX® UL 3680 cables are single-core power and signal cables for coil winding applications.
The insulation of RADOX cables is cross-linked by radiation and this process guarantees excellent temperature resistance. For this reason, the insulation does not melt and the cables have excellent mechanical and insulating properties even up to 250°. When the material is cross-linked it will no longer melt, even at high temperatures.

The cables are produced with a semi-concentric braid. This solution offers several advantages over cheaper solutions:

  • Cables are easier to strip and rework, which allows them to keep their shape perfectly, even with lengths of only 50 mm
  • Better insulation (perforation tension)
  • Consistent shape of outer layer
  • Easy set-up for wire stripping machines

GENERAL PROPERTIES OF RADOX® UL 3680 CABLES

The RADOX® UL 3680 cable has electron beam cross-linked insulation and works at low temperature.
Its operating temperature goes from -55° to +150°.
It has excellent resistance to ozone and weathering and is flame retardant.
It is easy to strip and work, is resistant to heat pressure and highly resistant to abrasion and soldering.
The cable is compatible with all common resins and varnishes, is flexible and has better resistance to fluids (oil and petrol).

APPLICATION:

The RADOX® UL 3680 cable is used in protected and fixed installation inside electrical equipment.
In addition, it is particularly suitable for connecting motor windings, electrical panels, magnets and transformers.
